How often should I get a dental cleaning while pregnant?
As often as possible.  While my wife was pregnant she came in once a month! We know that is not realistic, but every 3 months is. You can read our article, St Augustine Dental Care While You Are Pregnant Is Very Important, for more information.

Should I get a dental cleaning while pregnant?
Yes!  It is very important to make sure your gums and mouth stay very health.  You can read our article,  St Augustine Dental Care While You Are Pregnant Is Very Important, for more information.http://www.elitesmilesdentistry.com//free-info/library/st-augustine-dental-care-while-pregnant/

What toothbrush do you recommend I use while pregnant?
I strongly recommend the Sonicare toothbrush while you are pregnant.  It is based upon the same instrument the hygienist uses to clean your teeth while in our World Golf Village dental office.  The cleaner you keep your teeth, the healthier it is for your baby.  You can read our article on why St Augustine Dental Care While Pregnant Is Important.

Is there BPA in my same-day dental crown or fillings?
No! We make sure that all dental crowns and fillings in our office are BPA free.  It is important for you to know what is going on with your mouth, that includes the materials being used.  You will have your new crown for a long time, we want you to know about it.  If you have any questions about this, or any other treatment at our World Golf Village dental office, please let us know.

What is your teeth whitening gel made of?
All teeth whitening in St. Augustine essentially is hydrogen peroxide. The peroxide bubbles the debris out of the pours of your teeth, making them whiter.  There are other types of tooth whitening the can be accomplished in an hour or over the course of multiple days.  To learn more, please read our article on St. Augustine tooth whitening.

Can I chew gum with my dental crown?
Yes.  But make sure the gum is sugar free!  Most sugar free gum replaces the sugar with xylitol.  Xylitol actually has cavity fighting properties in and of itself.  So between the saliva, another cavity fighter, and the xylitol, you will be in much better shape.  So enjoy sugar free gum with your new same day dental crown.
